In 1909, Joe Michael emigrated from Lebanon to Jackson, OH where he opened an ice cream shop. Four generations later, his great-granddaughter Meeka is the proud owner and operator of the longest-running business in town. Famous for its fresh-roasted peanuts and its delicious Bubbles, Michael's Ice Cream is a beloved institution of the small Appalachian town.
