Columbus native Max McGarity started his own BBQ company at the age of 20. Over the years (and through a few name changes), Max's company evolved from a food truck with loyal followers to a full-on budding barbecue dynasty called Smoked on High. Along with the flagship store in Columbus's brewery district, Smoked on High now has satellite locations in grocery stores around the city as well as a thriving catering business. One thing that hasn't changed is Max's passion for quality Central Texas-style BBQ made with care, skill and patience each and every day.
